1. Here’s a new Out Of Town Films session with Norwegian Arms, a two-piece from Philadelphia. It also features our first repeat artist. You may recognize Eric Slick, the drummer, who is also the drummer of Dr. Dog. I hope you enjoy.

I have a bunch of photographs to post soon. Maybe I’ll do that this afternoon while I research my trip to Euroland? Hmm…

Nowegian Arms “Tired Of Being Cold” - Philadelphia, PA - 05/09/2012

This session with Norwegian Arms came about via social media. I had seen them tweeting about their new vegetable garden so I figured I’d drop them a line asking if they were up to do a session later that evening. They were down and we agreed to meet at Kung Fu Necktie around 7pm.

When I arrived, I noticed frontman Brendan Mulvihill standing outside on the phone, while also noting loud hip-hop music coming from inside the venue. He informed me that we were going to have to push the session back an hour or two because Eve was inside playing a show. With nothing better to do, we went inside and checked out her set. I don’t know much about Eve’s music, but from what people inside were saying, her old stuff is way better than her new stuff.

Anyway, when it was time to finally film the session and Eve’s entourage had cleared the venue, we snuck out of the side door to the fenced-in patio area and they played a new song called “Tired Of Being Cold.” Enjoy.
