Since Kreayshawn made some waves on the blogosphere today with her comments about being pregnant, it reminded me of this portrait I took of her in 2011.
I had no idea who she was at the time but everyone was harassing her for interviews and selfie photos. She seemed stressed out so I told her to throw her hands up like she just won and she did just that. She got a laugh out of it.
I filmed this Out Of Town Films session with Laura Stevenson in the tiny green room in the basement at Milkboy Philly a few weeks ago. It was a Friday night and the crowd upstairs were pretty noisy. Despite all that, she still sounded great. I just wish it was a little quieter. Next time I suppose…
